Covid in Querétaro, June 2020

One shift inside a COVID care area, June 2020. Everyone who appears gave their permission.

A health worker in protective gear leans back to rest
As the hours pass inside the care area, fatigue grows. A chair, a wall, anything will do for a couple of minutes before you go see the next patient.
A masked patient by a window
The few less severe patients try to walk a little, get close to a window, see some daylight. But they are alone and cut off from their families; the anguish inside is plain, watching the person in the next bed sometimes get worse and worse.
A person in protective gear sitting and leaning back, exhausted
Almost eight hours since going in; dehydration, heat, fatigue and frustration pile up. A couple of seconds to recover. The shift is almost over.
