unmedicosinbata
A doctor without a coat, connecting medicine, technology, and education.
I’m Juan Manuel Fraga: a practicing general physician, clinical-AI builder, and simulation educator, with more than ten years leading health institutions. I build software that reaches the patient. My compass: technology to improve the human being, not the other way around.

How I work
Four crafts, one compass
I don’t treat them as separate boxes. They’re four ways of doing the same thing: putting technology and knowledge in the service of people.
Physician
Medicine is my starting point and the ruler I use to measure everything else: if an idea does not improve a patient’s life or the work of whoever cares for them, I’m not interested.
Technologist
I design and build software, AI agents, and systems that solve real health problems — and I take them all the way to production, not just to the prototype. Technology is a tool, not the goal: it exists to serve people.
Educator
I train health professionals with simulation, debriefing, and evidence. Teaching is the most honest way to multiply impact: what one person learns, hundreds receive.
Manager
I take ideas from the whiteboard to reality: I’ve spent more than ten years leading health institutions, holding together the teams, processes, and decisions that keep the operation working. Connecting disciplines also means making them work together.
What I’m up to
Projects and initiatives
Organizations and products I build or support.

What I think and publish
I gather here what I write on the Emergencias and SimAcademy blogs. Posts are originally in Spanish.
